About Martine Barclay

As a psychotherapist and leadership coach, I combine my interest in human behaviour with my organisational experience to help you manage your stress, career and lifestyle, in a more sustainable way.

My corporate career in high pressure environments, in London and Sydney, showed me how adaptive humans can be. Unfortunately, some of the strategies we choose to support ourselves with, don’t always deliver the results we expect. They aren’t always helpful and their impacts can be longer than we’d like.

My CBD practice is dedicated to supporting adults who want to find a sustainable way to be successful without compromising their contribution at work or home, enabling them to continue to strengthen relationships with friends, family and colleagues. And how we breathe and sleep is a key contributor to this.

We each have our own way of adapting to the stressors in our lives. It can come from a range of sources and it is multi-layered. Stress can affect how you breathe and sleep as well as your thoughts, feelings and behaviours at any given time.

It's not all bad. Masters at their craft have already worked out how to leverage their stress for good. A healthy relationship with stress can motivate you, build your resilience, boost memory and learning, and assist you to deliver your best work. You just need to know how.
