I Believe

The worst moments of our lives create the greatest opportunities for growth. Even if you can't imagine it now, your best life and love is waiting for you.

About Sonia Brill

As a high-conflict divorce counselor I teach men and women what to expect in a high-conflict divorce and how to respond in the best interest of their children.  And as a  parental responsibilities co-evaluator I work within a forensic environment. As a result of these experiences, I have come to understand that emotional resiliency is the cornerstone of moving forward. I have written two books, Get Rid of Anger and Relationships Without Anger, with the intention to help men and women break out of the stuck, reactive cycle.

While I was doing my externship at the psychiatric ER and the Men’s Homeless Shelter Bellevue Hospital in New York City for my graduate program at New York University, it because clear to me that men who stopped living under the 59th Street Bridge kept hope alive in spite of their present reality. I believe human spirit has the innate potential to overcome adversity.

It may be hard to imagine now, but your heart-wrenching moment will not last. You might be saying: "How can this be happening to me?” Your days and nights might be consumed with reviewing e-mails, gathering paperwork, and preparing for an emergency hearing. If you are struggling, you might be worried where all of this might be heading. You might be anxious about your children’s wellbeing and future. Restful sleep may be replaced with pacing, worrying, and anger. You may not be able to get the last conversation out of your head. Finding a way out may seem unreachable.

No matter where you are in the divorce process, you can create an outcome which supports your new life.  No longer do you have to be trapped or caught off guard by the actions of an angry, manipulative, or unpredictable ex-spouse. You can learn how to handle a high conflict personality and create a life for yourself and your children.  Through strategic divorce counseling you can get back to what matters to you. There is way.  I welcome to you. www.soniabrill.com.
