About Sharon Livingston
For over 25 years Dr. Sharon Livingston, founder and president of The Livingston Group for Marketing, has been one of the most prominent leaders in the field of motivational research and Insight Mining. She is a recent Past President of QRCA, the largest association of Qualitative Researchers in the world.
Dr. Livingston is a recognized educator in the area of Emotional Marketing Excellence and Insight Mining in qualitative research.
She is the creator of Sharpen The Focus Institute, an organization that teaches interviewing and moderating skills, incorporating proven psychological techniques to help people tell their true stories. She conducts an ongoing international coaching club on Insight Mining for advanced practitioners.
Dr. Livingston is President of ICCA – The international Coach Certification Alliance, www.CoachCertiicationAlliance.com, an organization dedicated to professional coaching training for personal coaching, business coaching, employee engagement and spiritual coaching. She is a mentor for HBA – the Healthcare Business Women’s Association.

She is the author of best seller, "Get Lost Girlfriend - How I found myself when my best friend dumped me," as well as soon to be published, "Darla's Dead."
Drs. Sharon and Glenn Livingston co-authored a large scale 5 year study on body language of attraction and dating. The results were used to write a successful e-book, “How to Use Body Language” which sold 37,000 copies.
Dr Livingston has addressed gatherings as “key note” speaker for the American Marketing Association, The New England Journal of Medicine, QRCA, the MRIA – the professional marketing research society of Canada, The Advertising Research Foundation, The American Marketing Association, MRA – The Market Research Association, The American Management Association, QED – Quality Education Data Forum and the Sales Executive Club of NJ, as well as given speeches to many other marketing audiences. She has appeared on a number of radio and TV talk shows in the US and Canada.
She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology, is an NGH [National Guild of Hypnotists] Hypnosis Trainer, an NLP practitioner and has had extensive training in creative ideation procedures, group dynamics, applied psychological techniques, and projective methods. Her dissertation proved that a photo-sort successfully predicted scores on the Myers Brigg Personality Inventory.
She is a member of the American Marketing Association, HBA – The Health Care Business Woman’s Association, the American Academy of Counselors and the National Association of Female Executives. She was a finalist for the 2008 Enterprising Woman of the Year award and recently was voted an Outstanding Woman of the year, by the New England Family Business Association in June of 2015.
