I BelieveI believe that divorce and family law cases can be less destructive and more focused on protecting the parties' mental and financial wellbeing. That obligation rests on the attorneys' shoulders and I'm excited to lead the way.
About Joshua Stern
Joshua E. Stern represents clients in all areas of family law, including divorce. Prior to starting his family law firm in Evanston, Joshua worked for a boutique family law firm in the western suburbs of Chicago and worked on the majority of the firm’s litigated cases. Despite confidence in the courtroom, Joshua emphasizes out-of-court settlements for most of his cases. He takes pride in helping families through difficult transitions and acting as a source of stability throughout the legal process. Importantly, he understands that the family law process is not an end unto itself and works hard to quickly resolve a client’s case.
Joshua received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law where he served as a Notes and Comments Editor for Emory’s International Law Journal, a case worker for Student Legal Services, and the President of the Emory Law School Democrats. Joshua received his B.S. in Economics from DePaul University’s College of Commerce. Prior to attending law school, Joshua worked as a field economist for the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Joshua is admitted to practice in Illinois and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the West Suburban Bar Association. He is a member of the Jewish United Fund.
