Jingduan Yang Success Stories

Complementary Cancer Care

“I was recommended to the Tao Institute by Dr. Yang's reputation. I came to Tao Institute with severe and crippling back and leg pains. I tried epidural injections and many different medications to find relief. The condition was only getting worst. Before I had seen Dr. Yang, the pain lasted for a year in duration. I was immobilized by the pain, unable to walk easily, and unable to pursue recreational activities; the pain was excessive and crippling. After receiving weekly acupuncture and herbal treatments, almost immediately I have seen a difference. Overall in about 4 weeks the pain lessoned and in about 9 months the pain was almost gone. My experience with acupuncture was spectacular: the elimination of pain and my general health is much better, and physically more sure of myself. I had some other difficulty with the treatment of metastasized Prostate Cancer and the acupuncture treatment was beneficial in that area also.” ~ Alvin

Mental Health

“I have been suffering from depression for about two years. The medication helped but not completely. I was not feeling myself and would sometimes cry for hours. I had no interest in life and did not feel like to dress up. This summer I decided to have TMS treatment along with Tao's comprehensive care program when I was visiting my son in the U.S. After 6 weeks of daily treatments of TMS, acupuncture, psychotherapy, nutrition and other services, I feel so much better. When I first came, I could barely walk 20 minutes. Now I take a walk for more than an hour every day and even my twenty-year-old son couldn't keep up with me. He noticed I am now interested in many things in life. I am full of energy and very optimistic about my future. I am very grateful to everyone at Tao Integrative Medicine. Their comprehensive care program is extremely effective with a team of medical experts caring for me from both western and Chinese medicine perspectives utilizing different modalities. I also found the staff very friendly and caring.” ~ X.C. (Chengdu, China)

Integrative Psychiatry

“The Tao Institute saved my life. I did not believe in Eastern Medicine or acupuncture. Today I am in the best health. Dr. Yang has the ability to treat the entire person boy and soul. I feel better physically. I had three herniated disks, and could hardly walk. I now ride my bike and go to dances all the time. Dr. Yang has helped me to reduce the numbers and the amounts of medicine that I use to control the terrible mood swings of bi-polar. I would recommend Tao Institute for all your physical and mental needs.” ~ Tom
