My motto is that repaired relationships are stronger than relationships that have never broken down. Disillusionments and breakdowns are "normal" and often necessary, although very painful, to lay open the underlying individual issues that contribute to the gridlock. Working through those core individual as well as relationship issues allows the partners to grow and create stronger bonds that make room for individual needs and mutual support. Using an integrative model that draws from attachment theory, neurobiology, differentiation, systems and relational models allows me to focus on the specific needs of the couple and individuals.
