Ten Guideposts For Wholehearted Living

As you know, reading Brene Brown's Daring Greatly and participating in the Daring Way certification program has resulted in huge transformation in my professional and personal life. Taking small action steps toward greater authenticity and integrity has dramatically shifted the way I manage relationships and has increased joy and connection for many of the couples I work with in my practice.

I have been developing simple steps to help other folks create similar change in their lives and relationships based on this ground-breaking research and soon will be launching an e-course series designed to help folks transform their lives to show up, be seen, and live brave. Click here for information on the series (starting this fall).

In the meantime, there are simple ways you can incorporate this research into your life right now. The first is looking at the guideposts for wholehearted living (from the book, The Gifts of Imperfection). Research keeps showing that folks who lead wholehearted — more fulfilling and authentic — lives let go of certain concerns or perspectives and cultivate specific antidotes to move toward greater integrity and joy.

Check out the list of these guideposts below and use them this week to set your daily intentions. Each morning select one to keep in focus. When you end your day check back in and notice how the guidepost showed up in your day. Notice how you can let go and incorporate more cultivation in your daily life.
