About Emily Bruce
Emily lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband and children. She was educated at David Lipscomb and Tennessee State Universities, with a B.S. in Education and an M.S. in Psychology. Emily is certified as a Professional Life Coach (CPC) through Radiant Health Institute, is a member of the International Coaching Federation, and works in the field of Behavior Analysis, using the techniques for behavior change in the field of ABA to assist her clients. She is also the author of the children's book series, The Little Lawnmowers.
Emily experienced adversities in her adolescence - such as poverty, the suicide of her mother when Emily was a teenager, and the abandonment by her father when she was a baby - and through overcoming these challenges, gaining education and experience, she decided to share her story and expertise to inspire others, guiding them through their challenges with behavior change strategies and self-awareness teaching. She receives all clients with understanding and compassion, without judging those she is serving. She started her coaching business in an effort to inspire and help people discover a more fulfilling life by promoting healthy thoughts through personal awareness. She spends some of her time working with two organizations in the Nashville area. One serves children with a diagnosis of Autism, and the other serves children who cannot attend school due to illness, teen pregnancy, or have other personal concerns. She works with all ages and groups of people as a one to one coach, and in her workshops and seminars.
