1. Spend time with people who are dating geniuses.

David Banks, a statistician wrote a paper about excess genius. He wrote that human geniuses are in tight clusters in physical space and time. So you need to be getting some friends who are already good at dating, if you want to learn how to get more dates.

Hang out with people who are in great relationships or are good with the opposite sex.

Around 400 BC, there were philosophical geniuses grouped in the same area within a short sixty-year period. The geniuses who changed Western civilization were: Plato, Socrates, and six other great philosophers. Imagine what changes this small group of people did for mankind; you can be part of the next group of geniuses. The Epic Dating Geniuses.

"When you are failing miserably, you are learning to change what isn't working." So if you are stuck in what seems to be like a singledom black hole, heed this advice to gain more knowledge and perspective.

2. Learn from the experts.

If you are thirsty in what seems like a dating desert, look no further because social media and the Internet has opened up thousands if not millions of dating oases to learn about the opposite sex, from people with similar experiences who learned from their mistakes and are putting it all on the table.

On Amazon, there are 135,000 books listed under dating. So there are no excuses for being clueless.

Hundreds of blogs, newsletters, twitter feeds, Facebook pages, dating websites, videos, dating teleseminars, online classes and boot-camps are dedicated to dating, flirting, relationships and love. So take advantage of all the things the world has to offer.

Most of these experts will give you free information if you sign up on their email newsletter. You can sign up for a few coaches, get their newsletters and you won't have to spend a dime. They usually offer products that will help you even more if you like their style and their dating, love, sex or relationship advice.

3. Take risks.

If you get out of your comfort zone, that is a very good thing. Experiment and try different approaches. When you are failing miserably, you are learning to change what isn't working.

You're not going to meet the love of your life if you're afraid to smile at that cute guy in line at the grocery store. Smiling and saying hi is a good way to start. Practice on people you aren’t attracted to, so when Mr. Handsome comes along you will feel more confident about your brilliant smile and saying "hi" skills.

4. Work with the law of averages.

Less isn't always more. When it comes to dating and you're not having any luck, you've got to keep going up to bat. Really get in the game.

Pro basketball players didn't start out in the NBA. They played basketball on the playground, in middle school, on the high school team, then college. When they were really on top of their game, that's when they would get drafted for the Celtics or the Lakers.

Wilt Chamberlain didn't meet lots of women by sitting on the bench. He was practicing and playing the game. If you're not confident, you will become that way if you make the choice to practice confidence. Fake it till you make it. Make your dating life epic.

5. Don't take things personally.

A woman might not wink back, call back, text you back or have a second date with you. Rejection is part of the process. If you go up to a woman and she blows you off, don't worry about it. She could have lost her job or her cat died and she's having a really bad day. She might have a boyfriend or just isn't into you. There are plenty of single women out there and when you're ready you'll meet a good one.

6. Take care of yourself.

Physically, emotionally and mentally. Make sure you smell good, feel good and look good. First impressions count, so make your first impression a good one.
