About COURTNEY COFFEE MORRISON, LMBT, CPC

Hey There!

I am a Certified Professional Coach and Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist reaching out to people all over the world from the beautiful mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. I graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage in 1993 and became a life coach in 2013. In 2002, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, with a degree in Holistic Health.

As a Holistic Communication Coach, my focus is on helping you understand and learn to regulate your nervous system, developing skills that will inform and empower how you respond to conversations, conflicts, circumstances, and relationships. Employing modalities such as mindfulness, visualization, breathwork, stretching, EFT/Tapping, and Nonviolent (Compassionate) Communciation will help increase awareness of your emotional state and learn to listen to what your feelings are telling you about your next best step. With practice, you will feel anxiety lift and the magic of living your life in harmony with your emotional guidance system!

My alternative/holistic health journey began in 1989, while a freshman at Florida State University. I began studying alternative health practices that incorporate mind, body, and spirit in a search to naturally heal myself of depression. Taking charge of my own health was fascinating to me and I passionately pursued knowledge of nutrition, cleansing and supplementation, spirituality, mindfulness and fitness, as well as many psycho-spiritual approaches to healing relational issues with oneself and others.

In 2011, when my husband and I found ourselves exasperated and close to divorce due to lack of understanding and connection, a life coach introduced me to Nonviolent Communication. The process literally saved our marriage and, again, I found myself passionately pursuing knowledge to claim responsibility for my own health. This time the health of my marriage and, inadvertently, all other relationships, especially the one I have with myself.

My biggest takeaway after more than 30 years of holistic study and practice, is that our most important work is learning to love ourselves completely and unconditionally. If we each take on this responsibility, we can heal the world, one person at a time. It is this belief that drives my approach to helping facilitate YOUR healing.

We are living in a unique time when we witness enormous and unnerving division, yet we have the knowledge and tools to support our ability to respond in ways that foster understanding, empathy, collaboration, and unity. If you believe this is our moral imperative, I'd love to collaborate! If you are searching for a way through, I'd love to shine a light for you.

Please reach out to schedule an appointment or free consultation to see if working together feels like a good fit.

Here's to your inner peace and wellness!
