About Carli Blau

Carli Blau is a Licensed Master of Social Work, sexologist and relationship expert currently practicing as a therapist on the Upper East Side of Manhattan working with individuals and couples. She works with people regarding daily struggles, anxiety, depression and career concerns. As a sexologist, she also specializes in relationships, dating and sex related issues, commitment counseling, and couples work. Carli is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Sex Therapy. 

Carli conducts workshops with high school and college aged students that focus on realistic sex education and college readiness to prepare students for their transition into adulthood. She plans to eventually bring comprehensive sex therapy and education to television. 

Carli received her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Rhetorical Studies from Syracuse University; in which she studied language in relationships and the ways in which people communicate. She continued at Syracuse to receive her first master’s degree in Television, Radio and Film from where she created a campus run TV show that taught sex education to students.

She received a second master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University, where she worked with children in a suspension high school in Manhattan dealing with behavioral issues, anxiety, and family-related issues. Carli also spent a year interning in the Emergency Room of Bellevue Hospital, the oldest public hospital in the United States, where she worked with emergency room patients, but adult and pediatric on a short-term basis struggling with many psychological and medical issues.
